In the spotlight: BBC and Mayor of Greater Manchester visit Summers Quay

On 10 Feb, we welcomed a BBC camera crew on site to film a piece on the national 6pm and 10pm news about building on brownfield sites to help solve the housing crisis.

Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham also came down the see the development and announce Stalybridge as one of the 10 towns across the region which are part of his new Town Centre Challenge (include link to previous town centre story) initiative to drive regeneration back into town centres.

Jasmine and Josh, two of our future tenants who’ve reserved a 1-bed canal-side apartment appeared on the programme and got the chance to take a look around what will be their new home in July.

The story was also covered by local news in the Tameside Reporter and Stalybridge Correspondent.

More than a third of apartments have already been reserved off-plan and six months before it is completed. Learn more about the Town Centre Challenge here.

You can reserve your apartment here or through letting agents Taylor and Wood on 07843 167 800.
